G Putnam founded this small, boutique songwriting company [Music Maykers, LLC (MM)], or should I say, Community, because on my own, I'm NOT so good. After tumbling down dozens of hills/mountains, what I was able to perform led to interests from far better talents than me. Could name names throughout my growth (& have), suffice it to say, I could NOT have possibly succeeded in music without help from all around me.

I write lyrics, now, & send them to a small group of composers, each with a different style, which allows me flexibility as a lyricist to share across more genres. But that also negates developing a singnature, artist sound. So, Michael Clay & I started collaborating, & wow! We came together like Lennon/McCartney.

Michael Clay - An artist to spend alone time with. He sings directly to your heart in all his songs. His welcoming, war, personal vocal draws listeners in through their hearts.

While so many influenced me on my rugged, thorny, awkward journey, I now can reach your heart through mine. Your'e always welcome in my songs.

Where Is Music Maykers Going?

Well, NOT so much going. What's coming? Emotions are coming to you in brnad new ways: Find songs for your heart by moods. mmmm-SONGs uses my color-chart of moods, called Emotional Categories to the best I can. NOT simple, but consider the adjectives per color just for this site. Same with mmmm-GENREs, "genres" become blurry as we create. Lots of fusion.
